I was on strike for 6 months last year chanting how AI will never go through enough trauma to be be able to take away my screenwriting job.
The internet is blown away by ChatGPT and its ability to answer every question under the sun (even though Google essentially does the same thing). But I honestly don’t think it’s gonna replace screenwriters or actors anytime soon.
Artificial intelligence can’t be exploited, condescended to, or frightened into working faster for fear of losing lousy paid work. Robots can’t get stress headaches or learn how to kiss my ass, even though I know they hate me.
And there’s a lot of clickbait YouTube videos that kind of sell AI as snake oil. They raise doubts about whether there is any opportunity out there. This kind of hype is the easiest thing to peddle for views.
AI systems have induced fear in most folks across a LOT of industries. They are searching for solutions to keep their jobs. The thing is AI we're using right now are only just scratching the surface of what might happen in future. So you gotta make progress on your AI skills (which aren't hard to cultivate at this stage). And this is where lies the opportunity to make money.
Personally, I use mine to pose as emotionally vulnerable women on tinder and I solicit money from equally vulnerable men who want to fix. But there are somme legit ways it can help your income…
