But AutoPay is only ideal for payments that don’t fluctuate every month, such as your mortgage and car payments. You know what to expect from these bills every month, so it’s easier to plan and budget for automatic drafts. This isn’t the case with monthly expenses that fluctuate.
They can save time and streamline your personal finances, but it just isn’t the right choice for every expense.
Here’s some you shouldn’t put on AutoPay:

From cannabis subscription boxes to meal delivery kits, there are millions of types of subscription boxes out there you can sign up for. If you use AutoPay for them, then you might not assess whether you’re getting your money’s worth often enough.
Take a meal kit delivery box, for example, like Blue Apron or that one that hired Mindy Kaling to do their commercials.
